I passed the CPA exam and became a Chartered Accountant in 1985, the same year I graduated from college. I worked in Public Accounting for almost 20 years, starting as a junior accountant and working my way up to associate partner. During this time I gained expert knowledge in most areas of the accounting profession (US Taxation, Auditing, Accounting Write-Up utilizing various computerized packages like QuickBooks Online, Peachtree accounting, etc.) In 1995 I took and passed the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering Exam (MCSE) and worked for several years as a Windows Network Engineer installing windows operating systems and configuring Windows Enterprise Networks. Recently (in the last 10 years) I have worked as an Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant both independently and as an employee for one of the Big 5 Consulting Firms.
